Rare color post card of the U.S. Lighthouse Service lighthouse tender Shrub with a buoy on its deck. It was while placing a buoy, perhaps like this one, when the Shrub hit a rock which ripped a hole in the vessel and caused it to sink. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
