Capt. George Duncan Warr, captain of the ill-fated schooner Julia A. Warr. It was said that Capt. Warr was an awfully stubborn man, not afraid of God nor man. It very well could be this combination that led to the demise of the Julia A. Warr, on that stormy December trip.
