The 1905 Eldred Rock Lighthouse is located on Sullivan Island in the Lynn Canal near Haines, Alaska. It is considered the oldest surviving lighthouse in Alaska. Because of government bureaucracy, it is now being added to the Lighthouse Digest Doomsday List of Endangered Lighthouses. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2018
