In the Galley
Substitute relief keeper LeRoy White is shown here cooking a meal in the kitchen at the Los Angeles Harbor Lighthouse circa 1937-1938. A written description of the lighthouse states, “The galley and dining room of the lighthouse are located midway on the third deck of the structure with the fourth and fifth decks being the sleeping rooms and the watch room.” Back to the edition of: May/Jun 2018
