Photo Caption:

A nice picket fence was installed at the Dunlap Reef Range Rear Lighthouse to give it a more homey experience and look. If you look closely, the keeper, in his uniform, is standing second from the left. Also shown are four adult women and a young girl and boy. There was not much outdoor space for the keeper’s family to enjoy. When the Dunlap Reef Range Rear Lighthouse was discontinued in 1924, its lantern room was removed and the house was sold and moved to the mainland where it remains standing to this day as a private residence.
