This lighthouse key is somewhat of a mystery. It was found on top of a door in the Point Conception Lighthouse under countless layers of paint. Why would the key be painted over? Bruce Drugg chipped the key away from its location on top of the door and cleaned it. He then tried to find the door to which it belonged. It did not fit any of the existing doors in the lighthouse. The mystery may never be solved.
