The St. Martin Island Light Station crew
in 1972-1973. The station had a rotating crew of five with 3 on duty and 2 off duty at any given time. BM1 Bob “Beetle” Baily the Officer in Charge is shown in the center with the stations lighthouse dog. The names of the other two keepers are unknown. St. Martin Island Lighthouse is located near Fairport, Michigan in northwestern Lake Michigan. Built in 1905, the abandoned keepers house,
