-Florence, age 77, and Fred Batty, age 78, in 1966 when they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Their daughter, Mary, married Floyd Eddinger who was also a Maine Lighthouse keeper. Florence was the daughter of Samuel Cavanor, who was the keeper of Maine’s Ram Island Lighthouse.
