Shown here from an antique post card is a billboard, somewhere in Michigan, promoting LIGHT HOUSE FOODS by the National Grocer Company that had 300 stores up until the time the business failed in 1932 during the Great Depression. Some of their products included LIGHT HOUSE COFFEE, LIGHT HOUSE PEANUT BUTTER and LIGHT HOUSE ROLLED OATS (Lighthouse Digest sells a replica metal sign of Light House Rolled Oats). What happened to their packaging, advertising, and other products? There must still be some of those products and advertising items still around in old collections, antique stores, and in attics.
