Lighthouse Digest subscriber Jerry Tyson discovered a number of notable and larger than life lighthouse facsimiles in his travels over the past year or so and shared these photos that he took with us. Each one of these structures shows the massive interest that the public has with lighthouses. Although these are not “real” lighthouses in the sense of the word, upon investigation, if one had the time, there would surely be a human interest story behind the people who built them.
