I am writing to let you know the enjoyment my son, Jeff, and I get from reading Lighthouse Digest. He has been a subscriber for years.
We are very interested in lighthouses and have done many lake excursions with the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association.
We go to Whitefish Point Lighthouse every year and pick up the beautiful stones on the beach. So, this year I got an idea for a lighthouse made from the stones. I took a plastic flower vase, turned it upside down and got out my glue gun and attached the stones. On the top I put a lantern with a flameless tea light candle for the Fresnel lens in the lantern room.
