New Jersey’s historic Sandy Hook Lighthouse recently celebrated its 250th birthday with a big party. The patriotic party featured costumed living history exhibits, a fife and drum group, lighthouse tours, a birthday cake, musket drills, Colonial-era children’s games, Colonial marching music, cannon fire, and lighthouse history presentations.
