This past August a Coast Guard aircrew aboard an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter airlifts a stranded kayaker off a rock near Qochyax Island at Sunset Bay State Park in Oregon. The 44-year-old kayaker capsized his kayak and swam to the rocks and waved down help with his paddle. A Coast Guard aircrew aboard an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Sector North Bend rescued the man and reunited him with his son on shore.
