Today’s mainstream media is engulfed in news of doom and gloom and over-infatuated with the politics of the day. For the most part, they fail to bring you positive news or stories of good people helping others and they do almost nothing about telling the stories of the efforts of many nonprofits and volunteers who are trying to make a difference in saving our history. In fact, most will shrug off a story about a nonprofit trying to raise money for a preservation cause.
Lighthouse Digest is trying to make a difference. As well as telling you what is in danger of being lost, we are telling you about the people who are trying to make a difference in saving lighthouses and their history before it is lost and what you can do to help. We are also telling you of the fun things associated with lighthouses such as collecting, traveling, photography and bringing together wonderful people who share your interest. We are also bringing you historical stories that otherwise would never be told and lost in the pages of time as well as the current lighthouse news from around the world.
It is only through paid subscriptions that we can continue to make a difference. With this, the premiere of our revamped magazine, we hope to attract new subscribers who will help us and help you make a difference. After all, there is strength in numbers and only through strength can we continue to make a difference.
