Notes: This lighthouse is still an active aid to navigation maintained by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. It is also a weather and communications station. Overnight accommodations are available in the former assistant keeper's quarters. Park rangers offer 45-minute tours of the lighthouse and surroundings; tickets are available at the souvenir shop. Tower Height: 59 Height of Focal Plane: 387 Characteristic and Range: White flash every 15 seconds, visible for 27 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White conical tower, built of concrete blocks, attached to keeper's quarters.
