Notes:
The original 1967 Texas style tower was replaced in 1999 by a modern tower 1.5 miles southeast of the old tower’s position. It had been struck and damaged by the tanker vessel Aegeo in 1996. The present tower was heavily damaged in a collision with the Greek freighter Kouros V in January 2001.
