This reconstructed lighthouse was sponsored by the Chesapeake City, Md., Lions Club. There were originally at leasrt six lighthouses along the C&D Canal; they were all deactivated by 1927.

Current Use: Attraction at museum.

This lighthouse is part of the C&D Canal Museum at Second Street and Bethel Road in Chesapeake City. The museum is open year-round, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. It is closed on Sundays.
