Notes:
Big Charity Island is the only uninhabited large island in the lower Great Lakes. The 322-acre island is privately owned. The privately owned keeper's dwelling, in poor condition, was razed in the spring of 2003, with the cellar remaining. A replica of the house was then built on the old foundation. See their website for details to visit the island lighthouse.

Listed on the Lighthouse Digest Doomsday List of endangered lighthouses.
