Characteristic and Range: 1849: Fixed white, range 9 miles; 1866: Fixed white, range 11 miles; 1879: Fixed red, range 11 miles.

Description of Tower: 1849: 30' white brick tower; 1866: 38' white tower; 1879: 40' white, square pyramidal skeleton structure, standing on square foundation 12 feet high. Focal plane: 1849: 37'; 1866: 45'; 1879: 42'

A light brown dwelling stood a little southeastward of the line of the beacons.

Date Deactivated: 1890s

Fog Signal: Fog bell struck by machinery.

Current Use: Destroyed.
