The original 1886 lighthouse, now topped by a spire, still stands here near the presently active 1925 lighthouse. Height of Focal Plane: 40 Characteristic and Range: Flash every 5 seconds, white, red or green depending on direction; range 6 (white) and 4 (red and green) nautical miles. Description of Tower: White square wooden tower; lantern roof is red.
