This lighthouse was severely damaged by a hurricane in 1930, and was subsequently destroyed.

Characteristic and Range: White flash every 6 seconds, visible for 15 miles (1920).

Description of Tower: White tower with a red gallery.

This light is not operational

Date Established: 1853

Date Deactivated: 1930

Current Use: Destroyed.
