Notes: The first order lens in this lighthouse is one of the few still in use in the U.S. The lighthouse is very similar to Heceta Head Light. Tower Height: 61 Height of Focal Plane: 165 Description of Tower: White, conical brick and stucco tower.

The Coastal Visitor Center occupies the former Umpqua River U.S. Coast Guard Station. This building is now a musuem and is the originating point for tours of the lighthouse. The lighthouse is open for six-person tours from May 1 to September 30. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm Wednesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 pm on Sunday.
