Lighthouse keeper Charles Linwood Sadler on the deck of the Tue Marshes Lighthouse near Yorktown, Virginia. It is interesting to note that there was a Charles F. Sadler who was keeper at Stingray Point Lighthouse near Deltaville, Virginia from 1883 to 1886, and an Andrew B. Sadler who was an assistant keeper at Stingray Point Lighthouse from 1903 to 1913. It is not clear if these other two Sadlers were related in some way to Charles Linwood Sadler, who died on May 9, 1981. Back to the edition of: Jul/Aug 2018
