This rendition by Rich Katuzin is what the first Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse, built in 1847, is believed to have looked like. It is here that Chauncey Sheldon served as the keeper from 1853 to 1857. No photograph of Chauncey Sheldon is known to exist.
