The date of this photograph by The International Oceanographic Foundation is unknown, however it clearly shows that the Cape Florida Lighthouse had been visited by vandals and had its share of graffiti, some of it high up on the tower. The vandals clearly risked their lives. The ladder to the upper window has been damaged and it is shown dangling.
