On display at Rusty’s Pizza Parlor the original bell from the U.S. Lighthouse Service River Tender Wakerobin Commissioned on April 15, 1927, the vessel was the last stern-wheel tender built by the U.S. Lighthouse Service and it saw use primarily on the Mississippi River. It was placed in reserve status on December 18, 1948. Ownership of the vessel was later transferred to the Army Corps of Engineers.
