Notes:
The Friends of West Kootenay Parks maintain this lighthouse. The interior is open to the public. The tower and lantern room are open to the public but the outdoor balcony has been closed due to safety concerns.

Characteristic and Range: White flash every 12 seconds.

Description of Tower: White, square pyramidal tower with red roof.

This light is not operational

Directions:
The park is off Highway 3A south of Crawford Bay, BC. At the Kootenay Bay ferry terminal, drive south on Pilot Bay Road for 5 km to the road's end and trailhead. It is an easy walk of about 10 minutes to the Pilot Bay Lighthouse. The lighthouse is also clearly visible from the Kootenay Lake ferry, which is the longest free ferry ride in the world.
