Notes:
The lighthouse was discontinued because it was made redundant by the opening of the Confederation Bridge between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. On August 3, 2016 the Cape Jourimain Lighthouse was moved approximately 200 feet inland from the eroding shoreline.

Characteristic and Range: : 6-second white flash every 6 seconds; visible for 12 nautical miles (1995).

Description of Tower: White, octagonal wooden tower with a red polygonal lantern.

Date Deactivated: 1997

Current Use: Part of the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre, a National Wildlife Area.

Open To Public? Grounds only.

Directions:
Exit 51 on Highway 16, before the Confederation Bridge. There is an admission fee to the nature centre. In 2002, the centre is open until October 15.
