This lighthouse was leased to the Kiwanis Club for several years. Additions made during that period have been removed and the tower has been returned to its original appearance.

Tower Height: 48

Height of Focal Plane: 52

Characteristic and Range: One green flash every 10 seconds; range 8 nautical miles.

Description of Tower: White, square, pyramidal wooden tower with a red square lantern.

This light is operational

Date Established: 1869

Date Present Tower Built: 1902

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Open To Public? Grounds only.

Directions:
Off Highway 102, on the grounds of the Oak Point Provincial Park.
