Notes:
In 1968, the 1903 rear tower became the front light of the range, and a new rear tower was erected about 3000 feet away. According to the current marine chart, the Barre à Boulard Range lines up with the Ile Richelieu Light (upstream) and the Pointe Platon Light (downstream).

Height of Focal Plane: 235

Characteristic and Range: Fixed white light, visible for 20 miles.

Description of Tower: Rectangular skeleton tower, with a black stripe on an orange daymark.

Earlier Towers?
1899: White, square wooden shed with a black stripe, surmounted by a daymark. 1903: Red, square skeleton tower with a white slatwork daymark and a white, enclosed upper portion; 61 feet tall.

Date Present Tower Built: 1968

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.
