Notes:
This lighthouse was damaged in the Civil War; remnants remained visible until about 1917. Carmelite Philber, who replaced her husband as keeper when he died in 1842, was killed in a hurricane in late August 1852.

Current Use: Destroyed.

Keepers: Sterling Thrower (1831-1834), A. P. Philbert (?-1842), Carmelite Philbert (1842-1852, died in hurricane in August 1852), Elizabeth Michold (c. 1850s-1862).
